Symantec team has released the Windows 7 compatible version of Norton products.Free download Norton Internet Security 2009 (NIS) and Norton 360 v3 for Windows 7 direct from the Symantec website.They have also planned to release a Windows 7 compatibility service pack for current users to update Norton Antivirus and Internet security for free.Those updates will be automatically downloaded and no user action is required.
Although Microsoft Windows7 has a much more improved security features,there are also bound to be vulnerabilities. Many viruses, Trojans and worms are known to successfully attack Windows 7.So to be on the safe side it is recommended to use layers of security working together to guard against malicious software and intrusions.
